Reset the Communication Device to factory settings if your network settings have changed, you are connecting the device to a different network or you are moving from a Wired to Wireless setup, or vice versa.

You will need to reset the Pitney Bowes Communication Device to factory settings if:
- Your network settings have recently changed, for example WiFi name (SSID) or password.
- You are connecting the device to a different network.
- Or you are moving from a Wired to Wireless setup, or vice versa.
To reset the Communication Device to its default settings, you will need a small pointed object, such as a pen, to access the reset button.
- Disconnect the network cable from the back of the Communication Device.
- Disconnect the power cable from the back of the device.
- Press and hold the reset button.
- Connect the power cable to power up the device.
- When the LED lights continuous green (about 2 seconds), immediately release the reset button.
- The green LED will go out and the orange LED will come on, indicating the Communication Device has reset. If the LEDs start blinking, then the Communication Device is not reset. Repeat the process from step 1 above.
- Disconnect the power cable from the back of the device.
- View the Communication Device Installation Setup Guide to set up your device from the factory default state. This step must be completed before you will be able to connect again.
