Issue

An exception error occurs when installing or uninstalling the mac CUPS driver for the PB SP-100 Printer.

Cause

This error is seen on Macs running OS 10.14.5 or later and is caused by updated software.

Resolution

  1. When the message "Software_PBSP100CupsDrv_MAC_v1.0.0_Installer.pkg" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software shows, Click OK.

  1. Open System Preferences and click Security & Privacy.

  1. Click Open Anyway button.
