Poor print quality on your mailstation can be caused by several factors including lack of use, overuse, low ink, or an empty ink cartridge. Here's how to troubleshoot this issue:

Clean the Printer Nozzles:

1. Select Options
2. Press Review (down) to Use ink functions
3. Press Enter/Yes
4. Press Review (down) to Clean printer nozzles
5. Press Enter/Yes
6. Insert an envelope or tape sheet when prompted
7. Press Enter/Yes if the print issue is resolved
8. Press No to repeat the purge if needed (you can repeat up to 3 times)

Run a Test Pattern:

1. Press Options
2. Press Page Down twice
3. Select Advanced Features
4. Select Maintenance Mode
5. Select Printer Maintenance
6. Select Test Print
7. Insert an envelope to check the print quality.

Clean the Printhead (if needed):

If cleaning the nozzles doesn't resolve the issue, you may need to physically clean the printhead by removing it and wiping the copper-coloured section with a dry, lint-free cloth.
