If you use Accounting, select an account or if you do not use Accounting, turn off Accountng to resolve the message Account needed to print postage.

Issue

The Account Needed to Print Postage message appears on your franking machine.

Cause

If you use Accounting, you must select an account before printing.

If you do not use Accounting, you have turned on Accounting in error.

Resolution

If you use Accounting, select an account from the list to proceed.

If you do not use Accounting:

1. Push Options.
2. Press Review (down) until Use account function? appears.
3. Press Enter/yes.
4. Press Review (up) until Turn off accounting? appears.
5. Press Enter/yes. Accounting Disabled appears. You return to the Home screen.
